What is Clairvoyance?
It is a spiritual gift bestowed by the Divinity. It permits the Clairvoyant or Psychic to know things that will happen in the future with respect to a person, and what is happening around them now, and what has happened in the past.
Throughout history a few people have been called Oracles, Seers, or people with the gift of Prophesy. What they have done is directly interpret information from the Energy around them.
Science tells us that at a moment roughly 13.8 billion years ago, the Energy taking up less space than a pinpoint started to become everything that has ever been or will be on this material plane. Everything proceeding from that Energy is connected to everything else, and always will be. All potential of everything that could have, does, or will play out for an endless number of years was wrapped up in that pin prick.
On this material plane there is only Energy and humans are a brief expression of it. In a sense, the Psychic or Clairvoyant is aware of Energy fields that interact with other Energy fields in Spacetime and other dimensions.
Is it rare to be Clairvoyant or Psychic?
The gift of Clairvoyance is extremely, incredibly rare. On my estimate, having travelled the globe more times than I care to remember, I would say that maybe one person out of 10 million has clairvoyant ability – whether they choose to use it or not. And that is probably a generous figure. Needless to say, people have been gifted throughout history. It is not a new thing.
Why is someone born Clairvoyant or Psychic?
Despite what you may think, I would not say that being a Clairvoyant is any different to having any other naturally born gift. However, I am acutely aware that is a privilege. I am also aware that a responsibility comes with it. There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them. There are different ways of serving, but the same Divinity is served. There are different abilities to perform service, but the same God gives ability to all for their particular service. The Spirit’s presence is shown in some way in each person for the good of all.
I do not take a religious approach to the matter, but my view is that the gift is to be used to provide Wisdom; to bring comfort; to bring peace, and to pass God’s tenderness to a person.
Why doesn’t a Clairvoyant or Psychic win the lottery?
As I mentioned, it is extremely rare to be Clairvoyant. But the thing is, the gift is bestowed in order to be of service to others.
I cannot ‘read’ for myself or for my immediate family. My ambition for myself or for them does not go with the gift. It does not work.
Is Clairvoyance demonic?
No. There are more modes of existence and more Centers of Consciousness than we can detect with our five senses. Our physical bodies and have not evolved to detect the truth of reality; they have evolved to survive and breed in the landscape. Truth is not important in that context; rather it is the shortcuts which keep breeding bodies alive that evolution has selected our bodies for. Not truth.
But to the mind of the Mystic and the Clairvoyant, a greater expanse of truth is unveiled. The tenderness of God, the delivery of Wisdom and of comfort and solace is the opposite of the workings of what I call unhelpful Centers of Consciousness.
Is a Clairvoyant or Psychic dealing with the Supernatural?
I think Nature is far more extensive than most people realise. There is the Creator, and then there is Creation with all that it encompasses. The key word is Consciousness. Are there Centers of Consciousness beyond that which we are generally familiar with, and do they have a type or framework of existence which is different to us? The answer is yes to both. And I see all that as Nature. Nature is what the Divinity has created.
The Divinity dwells within everything in Creation, and It is also beyond Creation. I do not think we will ever intellectually understand the Divinity on this plane, but we feel It.
The day will come when an open-minded scientific exploration will have an explanation for Clairvoyance, as well as the other inhabitants of ‘Nature’ that I refer to.
Astrology
The movements of the planets and of the heavens have been studied for thousands of years. The earliest written records are from about 4000 years ago in what is today Iraq, Kuwait, and parts of Syria and Turkey.
It is probable that verbal discussions of the subject took place well before that, and knowledge passed down the generations prior to the invention of writing.
The thing to bear in mind about the Ancients is that they were not stupid. In a world where most people could not read and write, the educated elites pondered the correspondence between the positions of the planets and the angles they made with one another. They then observed the correlation between those things and human affairs.
Symbols were developed over the span of time to represent the planets (which include but are not limited to the Sun and the Moon) and the constellations that most people know as their individual ‘star sign’ or ‘sun sign’.
These symbols were designed to conceal as much as to reveal and represent the insignia of a very spiritual approach to the study of the stars and human affairs.
Over time, they were able to reconstruct the heavenly dance with events that took place among the affairs of humans and make predictions with respect to the anticipated positions and angles of planets for the present and future.
Formal study of Astrology in the Middle East made its way to the Glory that was Greece and by 330 BCE was carried by the Empire of Alexander the Great to India.
Both India and Europe picked up the ball and ran with it. The result has been Western Astrology on the one hand, and Hindu Astrology on the other. Hindu Astrology has also been called Vedic Astrology since about the 1970s. Although there are some technical differences between the two systems which will not be explored now, both do a good job in terms of reconstructing the past and predicting the future.
Clairvoyant or Psychic ability is so incredibly rare in my experience. Maybe one person out of 10 million has the gift. So, Astrology in principle can produce results for those who are not Clairvoyant or Psychic and who are prepared to put in the necessary work to master the subject. But there is no doubt that clairvoyance leads to a deeper understanding.
As an example, I provide monthly Star Sign Tarot readings on YouTube. For me, Astrology plays an integral role provider a richer understanding of the Tarot cards that may be set out from time to time. In private readings, the Astrological energies are an important layer in the consultation.
Astrology is not in principle a Clairvoyant or Psychic thing because it deals with patterns - patterns that the planets within the Solar System make against the seemingly fixed backdrop Constellations that the subject recognises as being important.
Crucial Explanations of Existence and Connections
Let me say two things which, though so obvious, are usually not even thought about because they are so obvious.
The first deals with the cause and effect.
If we say that the explanation for why this thing exists is because of that thing(s), and the explanation for why that thing(s) existed is because of those things, and so on and so on down the line of cause and effect, then what happens? We inevitably and inescapably arrive at the conclusion that something must exist without any explanation in order that anything with an explanation can exist.
It is worth repeating. Something must exist without any explanation in order than anything with an explanation could ever have existed.
The second is simple science.

Birth Chart
You can find out your birth chart, also called a natal chart, by searching for a natal chart generator online and putting in your place, date, and time of birth.
The birth chart is a map of the heavens at the time of your birth. It is two dimensional rather than the three dimensions of space – as is any map. It does not show the distance between the planets. It will probably show angles. We are not going to get into angles here.
Basic Principle of Astrology
Throughout history people have observed that the planets have exhibited a fundamental, cosmically based connection to patterns or principles which influence human experience.
The patterns formed by the planets in the heavens bear a meaningful correspondence with the patterns of human affairs.
For the individual, the patterns of the planets at birth correspond with that person’s life and their character.
We can deduce that there is a universal principle, or life force in its broadest sense, that affects, impels, structures, and permeates human consciousness and sub-consciousness on many levels. It also accounts in some measure for human behaviour, instincts, as well as for what (from the point of view of an individual) are external events.
Free Will
The birth chart should properly be seen as a prototype or a recipe rather than as an unavoidable sentence that is set in place, leaving the individual to live life as an individually powerless agent of external forces.
But a review of your birth chart can be very liberating. If you are conscious of the prototype, the recipe or the blueprint, then you can adapt your course.
Personally, I do not believe our birth is random. We are spiritual beings having a human experience in nature. We have things to do, and things to overcome, and things to adapt to. Understanding this frees you from being a prisoner of fortune and encourages you to approach this life in a liberated and intelligent way.
How Does Astrology Work? Is It Cause and Effect?
I do not think there are any physical emanations from planets that causally influence events in human life in a mechanistic way. The range of coincidences between planetary positions and human existence is just too vast, too experientially complex, too aesthetically subtle and endlessly creative to be explained by physical factors alone.
Rather, the universe is informed and pervaded by a fundamental holistic patterning which extends through every level, so that a constant synchronicity or meaningful correlation exists between astronomical events and human events. This is represented in the basic esoteric axiom, “as above, so below,” which reflects a universe the parts of which are integrated into an intelligible whole.
From the point of view of material science, we have signposts to this conclusion in quantum mechanics and the proven phenomenon of quantum entanglement.
From this perspective, the planets themselves are not “causing” anything to be happening in our lives, any more than the hands on a clock are now causing it to be 7:30PM. Rather, the planetary positions are indicative of the cosmic state of the archetypal forces at that time.
The fact that the planets constantly seem to indicate these things with such accuracy simply suggests that the cosmic order is much more profound and pervasive than our conventional beliefs have assumed. But the relationship between a specific planetary pattern and a human experience is best seen as one of meaningful correlation or correspondence, not one of simple linear causality. Just as in quantum entanglement.
But why should the cosmos have established a systematic correspondence between planetary patterns and archetypally patterned phenomena in human lives?
There are many possible answers to this question, not the least of which might point toward a kind of intrinsic aesthetic splendor in the universe, an overflow of cosmic intelligence and delight that reveals itself in this continuous marriage of mathematical astronomy and mythic poetry.
But in more pragmatic, human terms, my sense of astrology is that the constant coincidence between planetary positions and human lives exists as a kind of universal code for the human mind to unravel, so that we can better understand ourselves and our world, rediscover our deep connection to the cosmos, and be more complete human beings.
